Frequently Ask Questions

Are there any in-person options?

At the moment, we only offer Zoom courses.

Is there any graded work / homework?

There will not be any graded work, but we will provide out-of-class practice and highly encourage you to apply what you've learned.

What happens if I am absent?

Fear not, all lectures will be recorded so you can watch what happened in the lecture you missed.

What is the refund policy?

We will refund 100% if you excuse yourself from the course at least 1 week before the course starts.

What materials will I keep after the course?

You will have access to the "Student Portal" which will hold all the slides, documents, and samples that we discussed in the class.

How much is hands-on versus theoretical?

Our curriculum aims to be hands-on which means we expect you to perform the actions your instructor demonstrates in class.

Who are the instructors?

We have combed for instructors that work extensively with Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint and who have experience recruiting for the corporate world.

Will I be able to receive Microsoft Certification after the course?

Our aim is that you will be able to test for both the Microsoft Excel Associate and Microsoft PowerPoint Associate certifications after completion of the course.

Am I guaranteed a job after the course?

Our program aims to have Liberal Arts students become career ready. We hope to teach students the core corporate skills they need to make their resume shine and the basic recuiting, branding, and interview skills so they will be able to find their dream job and land it.

What if I don't have Microsoft Office or Tableau?

We highly recommend students use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint during the course. Current students should have free access to the Microsoft Suite through their university. Others may want to look into purchasing Microsoft Suite, using Microsoft 365's free 30 day trial, or creating a free OneDrive to access Microsoft Online. Google Sheets and Slides may also be possible alternatives, but our course will not cover the specifics of the Google Suite. Tableau Public is the free Tableau software that we will be using in class.

What exactly will we be learning?

In Excel, we will be learning everything from basic data entry and formatting to macros. In PowerPoint and Tableau, we will be teaching you how to link your Excel data to each and how to make beautiful slides and dashboards. Additionally, your instructor will walk you through the intricacies of branding yourself, resume building, LinkedIn profile design, and the toughest interview questions.

Who should sign up?

While we built this program with Liberal Arts students in mind, we encourage any student or recent graduate who is looking to enhance their corporate skills (Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint) to sign up. Our career experts can help you whether you're still in school, looking for work, or seeking a career change. If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at

Will I have access to an instructor?

Yes! Our courses are all through Zoom so an instructor will be teaching all you need to know about Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and career readiness. Additionally, our instructors will hold office hours so you can ask any additional questions.
